My twin boys, and their progress of understanding and acceptance through my gender transition, have been the topic of many posts over the years, either on message forums or (more recently) my blog entries.
Next week, the boys will be coming to stay with me for a pretty big chunk of time (three weeks). I'm really looking forward to spending more than a short-weekend with them... No special plans, really... but much opportunity for growth... together.
Now that I'm open with my employer regarding my transition, and working with them on a timetable, it's essential that my family is also part of that team-of-understanding. No one is being left out of this.
Today, I'll give a special hug-from-afar to my kids.
