As tenacious_snail posted earlier, the past weekend was full of unexpected, unplanned delight. For as much as a 2-night visit makes an itinerary nearly necessary, we wound up ditching some plans... with entirely happy consequences.

Unexpected, was the bonus bunch of LJers at Hobee's... and it was a joy to meet you all (this morning, I friended those who weren't already in my f-list). I hope that we have the opportunity to reconnect when I'm back in the bay area with my boys.

It's taken a while to shake off the jet lag... that's finally gone.

But the smile on my face isn't.
